Switch Control is a tool built into Apple devices that lets you remotely control other Apple devices when they are on the same Wi-Fi network. You can use your iPhone, or iPad to remote control your Mac, Macbook, and Apple TV. 

Follow these steps to remote control your Mac using your iPhone or iPad,

Step 1 Connect your devices (MacBook and iPhone/iPad) to the same WiFi network.

Step 2 Make sure that you have signed into iCloud with the same Apple ID on both devices

Step 3 On your iPhone or iPad, do this, go to Settings > Accessibility > Switch Control > Toggle on Switch Control.

Step 4 To control a Mac, go to the Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Accessibility -> choose Switch Control from the sidebar -> check the checkbox next to Allow platform switching to control your computer.

Step 5 Now, use your switch (iPhone or iPad) to access the Switch Control menu. Tap on Device.

Step 6 Tap on Use Other Device.

Step 7 Select the Mac you want to remote control

To turn on Switch Control in macOS Ventura, go to the Apple menu -> System Settings -> select Accessibility from the sidebar -> click on Switch Control on the right -> Turn on Switch Control.

To turn on Switch Control in older macOS versions, go to the Apple menu -> System Preferences -> select Accessibility -> click on Switch Control from the sidebar -> Enable Switch Control.

Turn off Switch Control on a Mac
